In addition to using the best environmental management practices in our factory within the criteria established by rules and procedures of ISO 14000 in 2005 Walbert became the owner of an environmental preservation area with the city 2352000.00 m² of Garuva located at a distance of approximately 40 km from the city of Joinville.
It is a forest area with great and diverse, with great diversity of species of plants and animals can easily find and in great numbers, lianas, bromeliads, orchids, cinnamon, palm cabbage, fig, coconut-jerivá among others. Besides having the headwaters of two rivers in the region of great importance: Jaguar and River River Arm.
